The ThreeX

Two Violins and a Piano.
Sophisticated humor and instrumental virtuosity, made in Poland !

The three classical musicians grab their audience with instrumental virtuosity and a wonderful mix of music and comedy - a unique, hilarious and charming show.

The trio, whom have performed together continually for sixteen years, consists of international competition laureates and graduates of the Music University in Vienna. Despite their young age, they have collaborated with the greatest names in the music business, including Aleksey Igudesman, Hyung-ki Joo, Zoltan Kiss and Adam Rapa.

Their diverse personalities, extensive experience, artistry on the stage and professionalism presented in each aspect of their performance, put them among the leading artists of the chamber music world. This can be proven by their gold medal victory at one of the world’s most prestigious chamber music competitions in Japan in 2014.

Concert tours bring the trio to many European countries, Asia, South America and Australia, and they have been performing in many of the world’s prestigious concert halls, such as the Konzerthaus Vienna, Musikverein Vienna, Acropolis Salle in Nice, Toppan Hall in Tokyo, Izumi Hall in Osaka, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Hall, Beijing Concert Hall, NOSPR - The hall of Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice. Some of the orchestras, such as the Capella Bydgostiensis, Camerata Polonia and Bielsko-Biała festival Orchestra with Mirosław Jacek Błaszczyk, José Maria Florêncio and Sławomir Chrzanowski, have shared the stage with “The ThreeX” for their show.

Due to the limited amount of quality literature written for this particular instrumentation, the group have been arranging compositions in their own style since secondary school.

From the very beginning, their compositions and arrangements have included various musical styles, for which they have extended into other kinds of art forms such as dancing, cabaret, or even circus arts, which is now an ongoing element of the group's performance.
